MAX-TRAC By Jeter
MAX-TRAC with our lateral fiing cabinets enhances the high density feature of the our cabinet by further expanding the fiing inches while minimizing additional flor space. MAX-TRAC adds only two inches to cabinet height and can be built in almost any confiuration (3/2, 4/3, 5/4, etc.) and can be added to at a later date.
The purpose and function of MAX-TRAC is to laterally mobilize cabinets directly in front of a stationary row of cabinets. Elimination of one cabinet in the mobilized row of cabinets allows for access to rear cabinets by simply moving cabinets in a left or right direction. By using the adjustable leveling glides built into MAX-TRAC, the decking can be easily leveled. Releveling is also possible with this unique design. This eliminates one of the major problems associated with non-level track systems-drifting. This product consists of two distinct items: a wheel anti-tip assembly for mobilizing and stabilizing the cabinets and an arrangement of decks which support both stationary and mobile cabinets.
DECK
Decks are made of 1-1/8" thick, industrial grade particleboard core. The top and bottom of decks are thermally fused Melamine decorative panels. Deck front is fiished with trim formed from 16 gauge 304 #4 stainless steel with a brushed fiish. All other exposed edges are fiished to match top surface. Tops are routed to provide positive location for wheel tracks. Each deck section has a minimum of 10 leveling pins affixd to the underside. Levelers are accessible via access holes located in the deck surface and allow for post leveling after system is installed. The front wheel track is an integral part of the front trim piece. The splice strip is made of 11 gauge steel and will assure all deck pieces are flsh for wheel movement. Tie plates are manufactured of 11 gauge steel and connect deck pieces together.
TRACK
Tracks are 16 gauge 304-2B stainless steel formed into a “U” shaped confiuration for maximum strength and straightness.
WHEELS
Wheels are 1-7/8" diameter single row radial ball bearings. The front wheel assembly is constructed of 11 gauge steel and supports and attaches to the front portion of the mobile cabinet. The rear wheel assembly supports the rear of the mobile cabinet and also serves as the anti-tip device. Anti tip is mounted underneath the cabinet. The anti-tip has a unique low profie design that eliminates the need for unsightly overhead anti-tip mechanisms. Wheels are permanently sealed and require no maintenance
ANCHORING
Rear row cabinets are securely anchored to the deck with 11 gauge steel anchor plates, one (1) per every two (2) stationary cabinets. |
